Dr. Casey is the Associate Director for Global Studies at the Dickey Center for International Understanding, Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Casey creates and manages intercultural and experiential learning opportunities for students in the furtherance of the Center’s mission to inspire lifelong, ethical engagement with the world. This includes a variety of educational opportunities that connect students with practitioners, academics, and experts in the field of international affairs. Casey also serves as the primary advisor for the International Studies Minor at Dartmouth and manages the Dickey Center’s International Internship & Post-Graduate Fellowship Programs.
Casey completed Doctor of Education (EdD in Global Education at the School for International Training (SIT) in Brattleboro, VT. She completed her MA in International Education at SIT and her BA at UMass Amherst in Japanese Language & Literature. She has worked in the field of International Education for over fifteen years, including four years in Japan where she worked as the Coordinator for International Relations at the Board of Education in Hiroshima Prefecture. Casey is passionate about international education, which she views as key in developing individuals and future global leaders who can successfully bridge the cultural and linguistic divides within and between nations.
